Who Uses Alexa As a seo tool?

I added the widget to this site>>http://www.sleekbusiness.com/ on the side bar
but I don't have the tool bar loaded on the fire fox browser" will the widget still work? " any comments are fine I mean really they are"

I hear Alexa can make a difference over all on your site"

Alexa rankings aren't given much weight. They are known to ballpark figures, for example the pageviews are not accurate but are very biased since Alexa only tracks user's who have their toolbars installed, other data from non-Alexa users is never collected. It is said that usually when you get below the 30,000 or 100,000 ranges, this is when the data is slightly more acurate and worthwile. Otherwise, it may actually detract people, indicating you have a rank of 4 million isn't assuring

all though I somewhat disagree" with you"

Alexa is thee first and the most original search engine" you would be not only fooling the directories " you would be fooling your self in the strategies you proposed" it does not matter what you think its doing it is what it is doing" bottom line lol Alexa will boost your rankings" overall search engines you must try to get listed with them" all you need is the Alexa widget and a submition to your site their and it can change the course your headed at" seo is seo
