Hi there, I was wondering. I am going to start selling ad space on my forums and I would like to know at how much could I sell the space based on the following stats:
Month Mar 2006
Unique Visitors:7288
Number of visits: 8373
Pages:62908
Hits: 321994
Month April 2006
Unique Visitors: 5959
Number of visits: 7480
Pages: 81833
Hits: 330080
I cannot provide with stats prior to february because I switched hosts.
I get about 300 - 400 unique visits daily. So any ideas as how much to sell the ads space for?

Take a look at what other forum sites are charging and then do the same. If you aren't getting enough response then lower your prices a little until you can keep all add slots full.
I might be interested in purchasing some ad space depending on the price - do you have the stats for May 2006?

First see how much a month you are paying for your hosting. Maybe you can base it around that? Maybe you can also try starting the advertising at $40.00 a month, then keep lowering it until they are happy with the price. But don't look like a sucka. lol.

These are your stats now. It;s a small forum (still), even if you have a good member count, the content is still small. I would start with something like 5-10 USD a month for a banner in rotation ... just to test the market. As soon as you have someone interested increase a bit. Having high prices right now won't be such a good idea. Also look at other forums and try to make some calculations comparing to them. As an advertiser on a forum/articles site I would care more about the content, then the unique visitors. You have a nice traffic indeed, but not all clients would look for this ...
Anyway .. best of luck and keep us posted.

How many members do you have? Based on stats alone, I would say around $10 a month for a text link to start. After you see how well it sells, make the price higher or lower.

Can you simply tell if Runescape is a great game maplestory powerleveling or not without you becoming a member? The answer to that would be, NO! Well you can make a few predictions about Runescape and see the moral of the game when being a regular user and not a member but becoming a member brings a whole lot of additions to Runescape that you would never see if you were not a member. Being a member of Runescape has so many benefits and I will try to list them all here for you. Runescape tells you them, but I'm going to detail it a few features for you here. runescape money
